In the first of two special editions of Jornal da Unicamp on the elections for the new rector, candidates Celso Arruda (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering), Edson Moschim (Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering) and José Tadeu Jorge (Faculty of Agricultural Engineering) present their proposals for the academic area. The next edition on the succession of rector Carlos Henrique de Brito Cruz will be published on March 14th.

The tranquility of the succession process at Unicamp is due to institutional maturity. This is the opinion of Professor Archimedes Perez Filho (on the right), president of the Community Consultation Organizing Committee (COC). For Archimedes, “the University is now standardized and consolidated”.

- 1st shift takes place on the 16th and 17th

- Election will have four voting locations

- Votes will be counted on the 17th
