Unicamp was chosen by Finep (Financier of Studies and Projects) as the research institution that best carries out technological innovation in the Southeast region of the country. The Finep Technological Innovation Award 2004-Southeast Region was awarded to vice-rector José Tadeu Jorge, on the 30th. The national stage will be on November 10th.

Unicamp teachers and doctoral students are teaching continuing education courses to 2,5 teachers from 932 state schools, in the Teia do Saber Project. The Jornal da Unicamp report followed the work of Unicamp teachers in Apiaí, in Vale do Ribeira, where 356 teachers from the education network participate in the program.
