New order, new utopia?

Computational simulations carried out by Leandro Martínez, a master's student at the Institute of Chemistry, have gained good repercussion in the medical and molecular biology areas. The study was recognized as an important guide for experimental groups in Brazil and the United States, including in the production of new drugs. page 3

Psychoacoustics, a science that associates psychology with auditory perception, is gaining prominence within the industry, given the growing concern about making the noise of its products more pleasant. Research in Mechanical Engineering laboratories involves everything from household appliances to automobiles and aircraft. page 12
